Tummy Time

I am certainly not the greatest at giving tummy time so I took a pic of Sage to at least remember that I did do it occasionally. If Sage doesn't crawl then I'll know that it's all my fault since Montana didn't! We'll see soon! Lately, Montana has been playing with Sage as if she's the mommy and it is hilarious how she talks exactly like I do. Blake told her she was turning into her mommy the other night...which is scary!
Couldn't catch the smile on camera

Monumental Moment

No, I'm not talking about Obama's presidency...we have much more important things happening at our house(ha). Montana has traded her nunu in for a toy! We've talked about how those things are for babies lately and she was ready. When Blake came home yesterday she told him she wanted to bring her nunu to the store and get a toy. It was easy as that...once she set her sights on princess makeup, the nunu was history! Don't let the face below scare you...she's just being silly. We were so proud of our big girl:)!

And, Sage is 4 months old! Where in the world has the time gone? She is such a sweet girl and we couldn't imagine life without her!

Too Cold

It has gotten so cold in Bham this week! It's actually been fun to snuggle and keep warm but it's hard to stay inside for consecutive days when there is so much to see and do:). But, it has given me the opportunity to practice sewing...and I do need practice! I've posted my first article of clothing which ended up being very short waisted, very, very shortwaisted shorts/pants/capris. They did fit well and Montana has made me feel good about it by her excitement to wear what Mommy made for her!

Bathtime

Last night I decided to 'be brave'(as my mom once said) and give the girls a bath at the same time...and it worked! Blake was working and we usually bathe one and hand the other off for drying and pajamas but I thought Sage may be big enough to enjoy some splashing with Montana. Here are the modest pics I took.

Celebrating CHRISTmas

What a wonderful Christmas! It was a little different this year because Montana was able to talk about Christmas and somewhat understand why we do so much celebrating...'JESUS was born' we would say! We made a birthday cake for Jesus, went to Zoolight Safari at Bham zoo, and had a great time visiting with family and friends for almost 2 weeks! The girls both got sick around new years, but I think we're just about back to life as normal:). Sage enjoying her new bumbo

We spent Christmas week with all of the Booths!

Blake recieved 'the gift of the year' from my Granny and Paw-Paw...a keychain micro Bible...we had to pass it around and check it out!

Christmas Cruisin'

We enjoyed a week with Mickey and friends as we went on a cruise with my mom, dad, brothers, sister, bro-in-law, and niece and nephew...so it was a busy week loaded with fun, sun and character greetings. My brother, Mikey, flew in from Connecticut, where he was in school for the Navy and met us so it was a real treat to see him(it was also the first time he saw Sage). The first day Montana(and her cousins) was a little unsure of the characters but quickly warmed up to them and longed to give every one of them a kiss, hug, and high-five. Blake was a trooper but did ask me if I actually thought it was fun to wait in line to see the characters! Of course I do!
