Sage is 8 Months!

So it took me 8 months to post pics of the 'month birthday'(if that's what you call them), but better late than never. And, I'm blogging 2 days in a row! Are you impressed? It may have a little to do with the fact that Blake went to bed at 8:00 last night(too much partying over the weekend) and is on call tonight....I wonder when I will blog when call is no longer in house?! I took these pictures today...enjoy...
Such a joy that little Sage-e-poo
And getting closer to crawling every day
Butterball baby

She loves to cheese it up & I just can't get enough of it!

I was told by a friend that you will love your babies so much that you will want to eat them up. I thought it sounded a bit strange but must admit that I do it quite often. And this picture REALLY makes me want to! Happy 8 months Sage! We LOVE you lots!

A Picture is Worth 1000 Words

Graduation Weekend

We had a celebratory weekend as Brad graduated Cumberland Law School with his MBA and JD! What better way to party than with a crawfish boil? Sadly, Blake did not do his assigned work, therefore, we don't have pictures of the graduate in his costume, but he is smiling with excitement in the above pic. Congrats Uncle Brad!

Mo stopped to pose in the middle of twirling...this pic cracks me up
David and Pappy boiling the goods
Blake sang a song for Brad...how about that for brotherly love?

The Backyard

Spring has sprung(although it will be in the 40's tonight) and we have some vegetables planted and thriving. We planted several tomato plants a few weeks ago and our friends, the Slagley's, had some extra squash that they gave us. They are all in pots because I thought I may have to move them around to get good sun since our backyard is very shaded. I'll keep you posted on the crops and may even post some recipes of how I used them!

Fun with Friends

Last week we had fun with Campbell one evening and then headed to Ashland, AL the next day to see some friends from NOLA who have started a church there!

Montana and Campbell enjoying a 'bedtime snack'

Campbell is wondering what her friend is doing

Campbell was having a good time pretending the tent was a jumper but Mo wasn't sold on the idea

This is Jessica and Jack. Jessica and I have 2 children the same age. In fact, Jack and Montana are a few weeks apart and Mary Jane and Sage are a few days apart. We went to church together in New Orleans and it's fun to be close enough to still have occasional play dates!
Mary Jane and Sage are busy working on a puzzle;)
Jack and Montana are itching to get in the yard...a BIG yard in the country
The girls again enjoying the outdoors.

A Busy 24

We've been busy...good busy! Blake had a 'research symposium' at Ross Bridge Hotel this weekend and we were invited to a dinner Friday night. It's a beautiful place! There was a clown and lots of children to run around with so Montana had a good time. Sage was passed from person to person so she didn't get bored. We ate and chatted with Blake's co-workers...several of his co-workers are our dear friends:) so we enjoyed it! Blake was on call yesterday and didn't even see the call room(which means he got zero rest) but we did get to go visit briefly. And, we just returned from Little Savannah, where Montana and Sage treated me to a delicious creole brunch;)! Everyone is fast asleep so I'm updating the blog!

Sage-e-poo and Daddy at the dinner

Montana showing her face-painting and holding her doggy balloon( which actually looked more like an anteater but oh well)

Looks like she may crawl!

I tried to get a good pic of the girls in their newest outfits I completed. I hope you will be entertained by these.
Sage grabbing sis...thankfully Mo thinks it's funny when she gets her!
And, now she wants to eat her...
This one is okay but you can't see Mo's shorts too well
but(t) you can in this one!

AND, last but not least, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, especially to our moms. We love you and hope you have a great day...we look forward to seeing you soon!

Good Times!!!

This is the best still pic I could get of the 'sweet eyes'
Daddy(I'm pretty sure he was postcall, hence the lack of smile) and his baby girl...Montana was too busy for the picture;)

Blake was glad to have the weekend off...can you tell??

Mo and Daddy eating a snack while visiting the Vulcan

Sage is trying to peek at me around the camera...thought it was a sweet pic

We had a GREAT weekend with Blake home and I'm getting very excited about having him around more once he moves on up to a 2nd year....yeah! There is no doubt that I will look back and be thankful for these trying days because I have felt the Lord so undeniably near to me! But, until then, we will press on, knowing that the end is near....
