Catching Up

Sorry it has taken me so long to put up pictures, but thanks to those of you who have 'urged' me to put up some new ones. When I'm faced with the option of blogging or napping there is not much debate. However, Blake was on call last night and I went to bed right after feeding Sage(which was around 8:00), woke up twice to feed her in the night, and gladly rolled out of bed this morning at 7:45 feeling like a new woman! So...I am blogging instead of napping today:).

Kisses are plentiful from Montana to Sage. She usually kisses both hands, then both feet, then her head. She likes to hug her too, but those are often way too much for Sage to handle...if you could imagine.

This was after our first trip to church a few weeks ago...I love how Sage is sorta smiling for the camera and Montana is elated to have her sister in her lap. Notice the girls' matching dresses from Grandma!

Another matching dresses picture(thanks to Grandma) I took after church yesterday. I ventured to church on my own(while Blake was working) and I think everyone thought I was crazy...maybe I am, huh? Random people were offering me help all morning...which was so kind but also funny when you really think about it!

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend and had a blast! The weather was amazing and Blake claimed it was the most fun he's had in a long time(which was so good to hear). Above is Montana playing in a huge trailor full of cotton.

We made our pumpkin an LSU football player(thanks to Anna) with Mr. Potatohead parts. I love Montana's smile in this one...just a little fake, huh?!

Blake's Birthday

Today Blake turned 28!! Happy Birthday! Montana and I had a blast baking daddy an LSU cake. She especially liked dipping her finger in the icing as I decorated it...who wouldn't, right? Blake is such an amazing man...he works harder than I think I'll ever realize! I have been blessed beyond measure to have him as my man, my best friend, and my leader. Montana is doing GREAT with Sage. She loves her and wants to play with her so bad. She takes great pride in throwing dirty diapers away for me...which is a super help

Hello everyone! We had some pictures taken this past weekend. If you want to check them out go to www.gvephotography.com and click on 'clients' and the password is 'sage.' They will be available to view for 2 weeks. She got some great ones of the girls...I'm excited about them(but I realized 1 week postpartum is not a good time to take pics). By the way, we are doing great and continuing to get sleep:).

Home, Sweet Home...with Sage!

God has blessed us with another precious(and healthy) baby girl! Here we are with our newest family member, Sage Augusta!

Montana is holding Sage...the day Sage arrived she asked me "Where's Sage's mommy?" She does seem to enjoy having her baby sister around but has been a bit whiney until today...praise the Lord!

Sweet baby

Baby Week

We are all in baby mode this week as we await 'baby sister's' arrival sometime between now and Friday. Montana has loved hearing the baby's heartbeat at doctor visits and is imitating what she has seen in this picture. When she hears the heartbeat she gets a big grin on her face and it thrills me to know they'll be buddies! Blake insisted on taking a picture of us yesterday to put on the blog...as I begin my last week of pregnancy. I attempted to hold my dress back so he could get a true pic of the size of my belly. Blake has been squeezing all of his call in the past 2 weeks so that he'll be call-free for a month...yay! Prayers this week are welcome and appreciated:). We'll post the big news soon!!

A Fun Surprise!

Because of Hurricane Gustav's recent visit to south Louisiana, we had the chance to hang out with Georganne and Bella, our Metairie neighbors. They coincidentally evacuated to Hoover so we had a play date with NOLA buddies...without even traveling! We are so thankful for God's protection from the hurricane and his mighty hand slowing the winds! Montana def remembered her sweet neighbor and they were adorable walking in the mall holding hands!
