New Orleans!

I'm back! My blogger app has given me much grief as I've tried to blog several times so I'm giving up on it! Now I will blog on the computer...Ok, where was I...We drove down to New Orleans, about a month ago for Blake's Ophthalmology Conference. We had a fun dinner out with my brother and his wife, met up with some old friends for a parade, and enjoyed some sweet time with family!!!

August was not so happy about being confined to his carseat so we let him drive...which he loved!

Anna, Montana, Sage, and Jack waiting for the parade...such a treat to see them!

He enjoyed his ride home much better!
While everyone was feasting on king cake, August ate his toes...ewww!

Sage's 1st Visit to the Dentist!

On Thursday, Sage went to the dentist for her first checkup! And, she wasn't a big fan of Dr. Huggins! I wonder if it would have been a female she would have not cried quite so loudly?? Montana went first to show Sage how easy it is and that didn't really help...ha! Nevertheless, she got checked and received a balloon...which made her quite happy!! I'm so sad I didn't get a pic of her in the chair but the situation didn't allow for picture taking;)!!

Back home and having tons of fun with their balloons!

Dad and daughter valentines banquet

Monday night was a Father and daughter banquet at church and it was the sweetest thing! The girls were beyond excited and once Montana got home from school they couldn't help but get ready for their date with daddy! August and I actually ran by and took a peek in...it was an overwhelming sight! The fellowship hall was beautifully decorated and packed with dads and their daughters ranging from 1 year old to teenagers! Thank you, Lord, for being our perfect Father, for this ministry at church, and for this daddy and his daughters!

Baby Camille

We were in Birmingham the weekend before last enjoying family and celebrating the gender of Beth and Breland's baby. Beth's sister planned a BIG reveal party for all of the relatives to find out what they were having...including Beth and Breland. We found out it was a girl, celebrated, and began talking about Camille. Later that night we received a call from Blake's brother saying her water broke and we began to pray. It was the Lords will to take her home as soon as she was born as she was too small to survive. We mourn over her but know that she is in heaven with her perfect Creator! Please pray for Beth and Breland as they grieve. God has already used Camille to touch lives for His glory and I know they are both grateful. We love you, Beth and Breland! Your faith is SO evident!!

We enjoyed a visit from our Birmingham friends...Erin, Caden, Micah, and Will!

Pink balloons!

Camille was buried in Montgomery late last week...Beth, Breland, and Barrett

Farewell to the Mustang

Two weeks ago we sold ole yella! On a bit of a whim, we decided to put it on Craigslist and before we knew it, it sold! It didn't go far....still in Oxford! So we have seen it around town which is kinda funny! She was a great car!!!

He has been crawling with more expertise each day for about a week so things are getting a bit trickier around here! What a blessing, joy, and wonder this little boy has been to us!! We love you, August!
