Baton Rouge FuN!!!

 The next day we packed up and headed to Baton Rouge for a few days!  We stayed at Grandma and Pappy's and did lots of swimming!!  Momo Geneva came over to visit and the Baileys joined us for a swim!!  Mikayla celebrated her 8th BirTHdAy while we were there!!!  Such a big girl...I can hardly believe it!  We also stopped at Blake's cousin Brett's engagement party!  As always, it was a treat to see our grandparents, parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends!!

July 4th

Blake was on call for the 4th, but didn't have to go in(call is awesome here!) so we enjoyed a relaxing 4th together and spent the late afternoon and evening on Ole Miss' campus for festivities and fireworks!   They had a pretty large petting zoo, live music, face painting, jumpers, and lots more!  We met up with several of our friends from Sunday School to watch fireworks once the sun went down!!

Summer Recap!

 Wow!  Where did the summer go?  I knew it had been a while since I blogged, but didn't realize it had been since June!!  We have been busy enjoying the long summer days and few scheduled activities!  So...I will start with our July 3rd fun!  We had our friends, the Hamms, over to shoot some fireworks and hang out.  Their middle boy was in Montana's kindergarten class and we have enjoyed getting to know their sweet family!
