With the first hint of summer heat we got into the water! Last Friday we met some friends at the splash zone at the zoo and played til the snacks came out;)! Montana was so excited about getting in her swimsuit again and, of course, that means Sage was too!!

miSSiSSiPPi
The girls and I took another road trip (just for the day) to Mississippi to visit one of my sweetest friends, Marcie, (that I grew up with and roomed with at LSU) and her little boy! Montana and Andy had the best time together, although Montana was a little rough but Andy just laughed. It was very obvious that boys are much more tough than girls because Sage never would have tolerated her "tickles"/chokes. We even shopped at this amazing shop with designer clothes at 85% off! Marcie's husband knows the owner, so they let us in before they opened to the public! What a treat! It was comical that we had 3 little ones so next time we will leave them behind and do some serious shopping!! Thanks Marcie for having us and we look forward to you visiting us in Birmingham!!

Easter!!
Easter was a BIG celebration as we enjoyed family, friends, eggs, and the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus!!! My sis-in-laws sister invited us to an egghunt/news broadcast at a local tv studio where we met the Easter bunny and visited with some Easter lambs/sheep too! I didn't get a chance to watch the news but I'm sure the girls made their first TV appearance. Thanks Bryson!! We spent time with the Booth's this Easter and I wish I had taken some pictures of our day at Uncle Brad and Aunt Stacey's! They grilled and we enjoyed the outdoors and visiting with each other!! I even got to help take care of Barrett while his mommy went to work for a few hours:)!! I hope all of you had a Happy Easter too!!!

A Trip to Texas!
The girls and I took a trip to Texas for a few days as Blake prepared for his OKAPS test and worked on his research project! We had a blast and enjoyed the sunshine and Texas plains! Lynette and Robert finished building their beautiful home in November so it was a real treat to stay there! We worked on their landscaping, planted a veggie garden, drove powerwheels, cooked, swam, made smores, dyed easter eggs, decorated easter cakes, ate peanut butter pie every night, and had an easter egg hunt! Phew!!! We packed in a lot of fun and thank y'all so much for having us over!! Can't wait for you to come visit us!!
