Before settling in Birmingham, we decided to take a celebratory trip(for the completion and survival of Blake's internship) to New York City. We left Montana Mae behind with family and returned home to a spoiled child, but we had a blast, walked a lot, and saw what seemed like everything. Our trip highlights were getting on the Dave Letterman Show(and we got early seating b/c of my prego belly), visiting the Met and MOMA, seeing Philip Seymour in the park, watching ColdPlay perform at the Today show, riding the ferry, eating at Shake Shack, Lombardi's, Balthazaar, etc., shopping, and Mary Poppins and Phantom on Broadway! And, my brother Mikey, who enlisted in the Navy in January, got to come hang out with us...which was def the cherry to top it all off!

I'm so glad you joined the blogging world! I will feel so much more a part of your life. I cannot believe it's already time to put Montana in a "big girl" bed! Your NYC trip looks like it was so much fun. We miss you guys!
