One Week Old!

August was 1 week old yesterday!

Easter Sunday

He is RISEN!!! It's been a special Easter season as the girls have heard the Easter story and become very interested in what Easter is about. Hearing them talk about Christ's death and resurrection and ask questions is truly the greatest thing for a mom! Easter was my first full day home and we enjoyed celebrating with family as Blake's mom cooked a yummy meal and, of course, Easter baskets!!

August James Booth

HE is here! The surprise was so fun and it's taken Blake a few days to believe that he has another male in the house!! August James Booth was born at 7:21 am on Thursday, April 21. The c-section went as good as they can, I think, and we are all as happy and thankful as can be for our good gift from the Lord!!!

All dressed and ready to go! The sweet docs let me go home 2 days early so I could be home for Easter morning!!! Our hearts are already so full of love for August James!!! Welcome to our family little man!

Eggs!

The girls and I dyed a few eggs yesterday...one last Easter tradition to finish before this baby arrives...WHICH IS TOMORROW!!!!!! Here are a few pics and the next post will be a baby announcement...wooohooo!!!

Day at the Lake

We were invited to celebrate with our friends, Ryan and Ginger, for Ryan turning 30! He is a resident with Blake and we have been blessed by their friendship during our time here in Bham! It was a BEAUTIFUL day with a cool breeze and just perfect to be on the lake.

Egg Hunt!!!

It's a beautiful day, though a little chilly, to celebrate Easter!!! Montana's teeball game was cancelled due to the extreme rain we had last night so the girls and I got to go to the Easter egg hunt at church. Blake had his OKAPS(aka annual ophthomology assessment) this morning so it all worked out perfect!!!
